The hockey team is looking very sharp early in their first game. 2-0 ten minutes into the game and absolutely dominating the game

No kidding. Every other country in contention has a former NHL All-star. Hopefully we can dominate and give our crappy goalie confidence before we face anyone too dangerous

Goaltending has been a weakspot in the usa for years. The only time we had a great goalie was probably when Mike Richter was young and in his prime.

A tie is not a great way to start off the Olympics, but most of you should know that we started of the 1980 Games with a tie and finished those games pretty well.

Stupid ties! Oh well. Gaborik scored 2 goals for Slovakia, he's on a tear lately hopefully he keeps up the goal scoring after the olympics.

On a side note I am playing NHL 2004 for PS2 and in 62 games Gaborik has 241 goals and 83 assists! He rules!!
