I originally made a comment, but Del Rio put it better than I ever could, so I edited mine out.

That is why I NEVER watch the State of the Union address...didn't watch it when Clinton was in office, not when Bush I was in office, not when Reagan was in office, NEVER...all the State of the Union address amounts to is a self-congratulatory pat on the back by the Administration in office at the time...no new issues, no real meaty discussion...just propaganda, no matter which party is in office at the time...a pure waste of time to watch!

I find it interesting to watch to see the various crowd reactions. Which statements have both halves standing to applaud, and which ones divide the room. Personally, I thought Hillary was hilarious last night. When she decides to have a reaction to something, she certainly sells it. Whenever Bush said something that the democrats applauded, she'd stand there with a look on her face that said "I know I have to clap, but that doesn't mean I have to like it." When Bush mentioned that congress didn't pass his social security package last year, and the democrats jumped up and cheered, Hillary looked like, well, like what Bill must have looked like just before he ruined a perfectly good dress. She must suck at playing poker. Even the most oblivious person could read her like a book.

Other than the crowd reaction, you're right, it's pretty much propaganda for the party in charge.

Heres a funny story relating to your example Del Rio. Just two weeks agoI was at Wal-Mart wearing my Geek Squad sweatshirt. Now take in mind I really didnt think it would offend anybody or be a big issue, it honestly was not even a thought that crossed my mind. But what happened next really pissed me off. I was actually asked to leave the store!!!! Yes thats right the Eagan Wal-Mart asked me to leave the store, there reasoning was because they didnt feel it ws right.(Best Buy and Walmart are neck and neck in buisness ratings I guess) I honestly had no ill intent intended just happened to be wearing the sweatshirt. Its a joke in my opinion that my my rights where taken away in that manner over something I had no idea would be a big issue, for crying out loud I buy most of my electronics from walmart. Anyways going off topic though for a second there.

I was unawhere of the new reports coming out saying they told her to cover up. Thats very interesting though.I think the main point here is how Bush avoids and runs from any type of critism ever directed towards him and thats what upsets me most about the guy. He is like a kid who is blamed for something and trys evr way out he can think of and if that doesnt work blame someone else.

Not at all. The main point here is that two people made an error in judgement when getting dressed in the morning. Again, this wasn't some rule that the president drempt up in the middle of the night just to spite a couple of people. It is a rule that has been in effect for A LONG TIME, and was applied equally to people both in support of and against the war in Iraq.

It always surprises me how often people only register part of the story because it better fits with their personal beliefs.

Yeah it sucks, but to be fair it's not your right to be in their store it's your privledge.

When I worked there I had to escort Target employees out of the store. It happens.

Then again when I went to Target, K-mart, and all that to do price comps I always took off the vest and badge.

Having a geek squad shirt on and getting removed is a bit much IMO.
