Thread: Unique guitar jam.

I like Andy McKee's style of guitar playing.
He has a few tunes that you can download if you're into it on
his site

He is not the first person I've seen to play that way. I've actually experimented with it myself a bit (though obvioulsy I was not nearly as good as he is at it). It's a style that you might see with some regularity in Prog Rock bands. In fact, a friend of mine that plays in a band called Chevron excels at the style (and also plays a mean Theramin).

It is nice, I've never experimented with that style...until tonight lol.
I like some of his other music too, talented player.

This guy is pretty amazing. If you like his stuff you should check out Billy McLaughlin, Preston Reed, and Michael Hedges as well.

I've tried some stuff like that. I actually came up with one decent song, but my skills are nowhere near that level.

And if you like this guy, find some Michael Hedges records. That's where I first heard this style.
