If you were a die hard uconn football fan at that time you might maybe want it because it would be a cool piece of memorabilia to have.

You can actually get playbooks or playbooks that are ment to be given out. A lot of Highschool coaches travel to universities in the summer and are taught / given a playbook. This year we went to Nebraska because we are incorporating their defense.

So I have Nebraska's playbook. They take all the names off of the plays. Do not describe their cadence, and the written description of what they plays do are changed.

Be interesting to know if it is one of these books, or if it is an actual playbook, that is original, like the one that the coaches have.

I totally agree they can have the playbook if it is "generic" meaning that it doesn't have the name or package audibles or cadences on it.

Last year Glenn Mason and his staff put on a camp to other college coaches about their running game and they gave out generic playbooks for use during the camp.

I'm not sure about pro teams and their playbooks. I know a few teams have gone completely digital.

But the plays really aren't all that important it is the audibles, the shifts, the little things that make a difference. I imagine almost every teams playbooks look about the same if they have similar personel. And of course what plays they run are captured on film every week.

It's the adjustments that need to remain somewhat secret.
