Twins cut boone and call up bartlett

I'm glad we recalled bartlett. He is the future for the twins at SS, so lets get him some PT now, so when we need him next year, he will be ready. Looks like he was doing well in the minor's too. I really like bartlett and wasn't happy when we sent him down so quickly.

It's too bad about boone. He is a good guy and loves the game, but his career just may be done.

right on! Get the young guys some playing time.. I liked Boone but he wasn't cutting it.. And the playoffs look outta reach right now so we might as well let our young guys get in there and get thier feet wet.. Good call here

i hope he can pull it together. i think him and L-rod could be a pretty good combo up the middle. and since the season is pretty much over we should give the younger guys a chance to play to see which ones can cut it

I was really excited about Boone playin for the Twins, but he just didn't seem to take off like I think we all were hoping he would. Good luck to Bartlett and hopefully we can start to win a few games here and there!

Boone sucks. The guy just cannot play baseball anymore. Nothing personal or anything because I am a huge twins fan(in fact I am going up to the red sox series in Minneapolis this weekend) I just think that it was all for the best!
