Back to the food portion of this topic..........We usualy deepfry our turkey but this year I went out and bought a smoked one for a change of pace.

For a really different change of pace, you could go with a turducken...THREE different kinds of meat! Guaranteed to satisfy all different tastes!

I'm not real sure, but if it gets to Wed. night and its still not thawed most of the way, fill up the sink with cold water and sit it in the water overnight. That will help it thaw faster than it would outside of the fridge, without spoiling it.

cajunvike - I saw that turducken thing when I got my Tday bird. I was curious but didn't want to risk it with the inlaws coming. Though I might try it at New Years.

Do you have any advice for a Turducken rookie? I thought I might use my rotisserie.
