A truly sad weekend...the retirement of Reggie Miller
I'm not sure how many of you follow the NBA religiously, but I am one of those persons.
I live in Chicago, thus I've been a Bulls fan all my life...and with the exception of Michael Jordan, I've never seen a greater competitor than Reggie Miller. He left his heart on the court every game. He had a catch and release that we'll never see again, and was the greatest pure shooter of our generation.
He became the best NBA player (in my opinion) to retire without a ring. God bless him in his life after the NBA.

hey, I am a HUGE Jazz fan and it just broke my heart when stockton and malone retired with out a ring! Damn Pistons! i was rootin' for the pacers
Re: A truly sad weekend...the retirement of Reggie Miller
i was really pullin for him and the pacers in the playoffs this year. that really sucks that he has to go. i thought it was a class act by larry brown though to call a timeout so he could get his standing ovation.

Nobody was talking about how boring the NBA was, newb. http://www.smilies-and-more.de/pics/.../angry/008.gif
Yes, Reggie was a class act and is too bad that he did not get a ring. Same for Malone and Stockton.
Reggie and Larry were IMO the best pure shooters in the game.
If the team had Artest, it may have been a different story.

Re: A truly sad weekend...the retirement of Reggie Miller
A friend of mine had a cool Reggie Miller t-shirt that said "Market Square Garden, the only place it's Miller Time all the time" that was cool.
I remember in the playoffs against the Knicks when he scored like 10 points in a minute or so and biotched Ewing, Starks and the Knicks that was the best ever.
Re: A truly sad weekend...the retirement of Reggie Miller
I'm not that sad to see him leave. I never really liked Reggie. I do appreciate his loyalty to one team though and what he has brought to the game of basketball. He was a true competitor though!
