I thought that pocket full of posies was that the flowers were to kill the stench...but my memory is probably foggy on that issue. I didn't have to look that one up either...but I was at lunch, so I was a little slow on the trigger! :sad:

That is correct sir....I visited the museum that hosted exhibits about the plague while I was in London. Nasty stuff....Ring around the rosey came from the way the blisters looked. I believe they thought putting a jar around the sores would prevent spreading too....
