Re: Transformers
My wife and I enjoyed this sci-fi fantasy flick. If you can't appreciate sci-fantasy, I don't think this film will change your religion. But, if you enjoy the genre or if you grew up watching the cartoons, like I did, this is a good movie. I'm glad I saw it in the mega-plex because the audio adds a lot to the experience.
In all, I thought the film-makers did a great job trying to make the transformers story plausible. The comic relief was unexpected but effective in making the movie entertaining and worthwhile.

This movie is really not a DVD movie UNLESS you have the complete surround sound and 60 inch 1080i screen to go with it! You will hate yourself for not going to see it in the theaters! I saw it Mon. night and I am goin back Sun! I've talked with guys that went Mon night at 8pm then went right back in at 11 THEN saw it again on tues! I felt like I was 7 years old again watchin TransformersI don't know if I cant take a movie that involves trucks and planes transforming into giant robots seriously. I'll wait until it's out on DVD.
One of my buddies actually has an entire home theatre with surround sound and all that crap.. (yeah he's rich). I've got a decent 50 or 60 inch TV something around there with surround sound.
Most are telling me its pretty good but I usually wait til DVD anyways. No sense having a nice TV if i'm gonna watch all my movies in the theater.
