He has the yellow jersey and he really doesn't even gain ground until the ride in the Alps usually. Riding a bike that many miles and days has to take a toll on you.

Back in the lead where he belongs, 38 seconds ahead of #2 and over 4 minutes ahead of his main competitors!!

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!

    Re: Tour de France

He wins in sport where there are only four or five elite level "players" in the world (and at least two of them are kissing his ass on his own team). He is given more resources than any other rider in the world and has been linked to cheating at least a dozen times and everyone still kisses his ass because he is white and beat cancer ...
Yes that was the race card, and yes it is completely accurate. I mean hell, Barry Bonds cannot get away from anything having to do with steroids when they have no hard evidence, but Armstrong has had mail to his house with EPO in it, not to mention excessive ties to anabolic steroids (which is not as bad as the oxegyn enhancer) and noone says a thing, they just kiss his white, texan, all-american, wife-beating ass ...
Am I impressed he beat cancer and won the Tour de France however many times, sure, but it is so overhyped ... I mean every year I have to hear about him maybe being male athlete of the year because he beat the other two good cyclists in ONE EVENT? C'mon ... If the Tour de France happened in the fall when football was going on not a damn person would talk about it because noone gives a sh*t about it except for Lance the last six years because he beat cancer ...

I can't believe so many people are interested in who rides a bike the best.
I know it is an ironman sport, but so would marathon wood chopping.

    I guess I just don't get it.
Let alone to watch it on TV.

And I ride almost every Saturday for 20 miles.
Seems like everybody I ride with or meet while riding just about wets themselves when he is brought up.
And he is always being talked about.

It's like "hey shut the pieholes, ride, release the tension and recenter yourself"

But maybe if it could be like Ben Hur with spiked wheels and a big whip to hit the other riders......

    Now that is worth watching!

    Just my thoughts.

Damn, twenty miles is quite a feet. I used to ride fairly regulalry, but I guess I just don't find much time for it anymore.
