I had never heard of it, I just posted it because I wasted 7 min. of my life watching it and wanted to share my adventure with all y'all.

Top Gear is amazing.

And if you had watched the show for more than those 7 minutes you'll know the "challenge" was tongue-in-cheek (as all of them are) and usually pass with minimal consequence. That, however, was HILARIOUS. I had tears of laughter during the episode. And let's be fair on this, it's not too hard to make the people who ran that gas station look dumb. Also, you have to understand Jeremy Clarkson (the tall presenter) has an anti-America bias, and seeing as he's a producer his bias was always going to be conveyed.

Finally, at the end of the show they revealed that they gave away the cars they drove from Miami to New Orleans to people in New Orleans who had lost everything during Hurricane Katrina. After Clarkson gave his car away (an 89 Camaro) a representative from the charity they donated the cars through threatened to sue them because of the fact that he ACTUALLY gave away a 91 Camaro, and this was blatant mis-representation on the part of him and the researchers. Oh, and $20,000 would make "the case" go away. Quite pathetic, really.
