Re: Tiny Iowa town rescinds $5 cat bounty

From my experience, it really depends on the cat.
We had one adult cat in the house and he was fine and caused little mess or disturbance.

Now we have two cats in the house (and a loud ass cockateil bird) and I'm beginning to go bat-shit insane.
It is hard to tolerate a cat taking his ritual evening dump in my fucking bathtub.
To hell with pets in the house...never again.

Yeah - why have a pet with personality and spirit when you can have an obedient and mindless pooh-machine with a twice-a-day committment for 15 years.

    Weeeeee.
I know you're not talking pooh about dogs.

If you were to fall in the shower and hit your head, knocking you out, a dog would try to do anything it could to get you help.

A cat would eat your body to survive.
The dog would sit there, curled up in a ball on the bathmat, poohing the carpet and eating it before it decided to feast on your remains.

    =Z=
You know... I noticed there was something about you... something cold and callused... you're a cat person. That explains a lot.

And here I just thought it was because you were a Cubs fan.

How can anyone not like dogs?

I like all animals... just dogs more. A lot more.

Nothing is better than taking the dogs to the beach to play a game of fetch. You can actually see them smile with excitment. Can't do that with cats. Cat people scare me...nah, actually I've never had one due to allergies so whatever floats your boat.

    Dogs Rule!!!

Both are a waste of time and money. I guess if you don't have any people friend a pet could be useful.

I have three cats in the house. Rarely ever do I have a problem. They don't use the bathtub, that's what litter boxes & the great outdoors are for.

Once in awhile they'll cough something up, but it's a fair price to pay for living in a mouse free house & a mole free yard.

They'll take down full grown rabbits & squirrels also.
