    Is It Time to Retire the Football Helmet?

    The current helmet design handles a high "severity index" — which may actually encourage players to collide more forcefully and more often.

    yup, with all the guys getting season ending concussions from knees to the helmet, its probably a good idea to bring back the leather helmets.
