Even though I bust Singers chops alot, he will soon come to see the finer things that are awaiting him....
This is what I walk out to every mourning when at my house in
Cebu...

gol 'darnit nice place.
I need to get the hell out of here and move back to those parts.

But TRUE success stories like you and Margie make it all worthwhile, I am sure!"Del" wrote:
What i meant is if he is in love who cares what someone thinks.
Working on base I have seen many people meet asians online or through "friends" and then they go thru hell to get them here only to be left or stuck living with someone who doesn't love them but loves the opportunity to be here. So I can see where people would look at the situation and say wait a minute here this seems kind of bullshitish to me.
My point is it is none of our buisiness. So who gives a pooh. If they are happy thats enough imo, and even that is none of our buisiness
;D
I hear you Del, I've seen and heard for myself, many a sad storys about men bringing their wifes to this country from foriegn lands, only to be delt the blow that they really didn't want to be with them and left after getting their green cards and American Freedom at someone else's cost and feelings...Sad indeed.
Yet at the same time, I've seen plenty of Americans, marry their high school sweathearts, or someone they thought they knew for years and loved....Only to be delt the same blow......
I guess thats part of like though, truth is, we are the lucky ones who have found true love and have wonderful wives who love us and would stick with us thru thick and thin...
And if I may, the coin has two sides, which i've seen also,
some wonderfull women come here, only to find out all to late, that the man who said he was this, was really nothing but the total opposite.....I've known some nice Filippinas I've met thru Fil/Am social clubs, who have real trash for husbands....Some act like they have a slave, not a wife....It's very sad...
Now, if only Margie could keep those "fists of iron" under wraps so that she can keep you out of jail !!!

Rock on, Ned...and I am happy that you got the opportunity to introduce Singer to your lovely niece...I am sure that they will soon mirror the successful couple that you and Margie are...and maybe even get themselves a little David out of the deal too!
;D
Go get 'em, Singer!
