Things to do in Minnesota...
Hi guys n gals.
As some of you know i will be making my first visit to Minnesota from the UK for the Chicago Bears game on November 29, which is something of a long time dream of mine.

Now, this is where you guys come in, i need to know what to do, where to go and what places to see etc..
I'm staying downtown Minneapolis and wont have a car.
So far i have been given the following info from a friend of a friend...
"A bar called “Old Chicago†is cool. “The
Fine Line†(http://www.finelinemusic.com/index.html) it’s on the same
street at Old Chicago.
“First Avenue†is kind of a crazy bar/club, but it’d made famous because
Prince owns it (he lives here).
A lot of famous bands have played there.
It’s kinda dirty, but it’s all apart of the atmosphere.
Lots of Mohawks
and piercings, but also “normal†people…. http://www.first-avenue.com/
Yummy pizza:

Depending on the weather:

Free!

Of course the Mall of America in Bloomington (where Compendium was).
They
can take the Light Rail, http://www.metrotransit.org/planyourtrip/plan.asp "
I have my Vikes tickets sorted as well as the T-wolves tickets and i hope to get to see the Wild too.
Any sports bars that show [s]football[/s] English soccer would be helpful
Any and all suggestions are welcome to help me enjoy your great city.
;D
PS..
i make no apologies for shamelessly bumping this thread every now and then!

Take the light rail to the Mall of America
Unfortunately I don't believe I've seen real football displayed anywhere in Minneapolis. Go AC Milan!

Also, get your pizza at Old Chicago instead of Pizza Luce.

I've been to Minny a bunch of times, and if you lookin for pizza I suggest Clancy's if you can find it.Also, get your pizza at Old Chicago instead of Pizza Luce.
I forget exactly where it is at, but the atmosphere is great (awesome mural painting) and the pizza is crazy especially if you are tryin to satisfy those munchies.
Then it becomes favregasmic.
Think it is near Jordan.
Might be out of the way."There are 3 things that sell in America:
Violence, sex, and drugs.
The only way you are going to make this game more appealing to the public than it was before is if there are on field orgies at halftime and the domes become massive opium dens."
