I just don't see any cliques on the site other than the fact that I'm sure everyone has a few people that they like more than others.
The thing I have always liked about pp.o is you better have some support for what you are saying or someone will call you on it.
I call it asshole peer review, good stuff.
I have many people that hate me on this site and a few I call friends and by far the majority I am indifferent too......and I lose sleep over it.

You should know by now that many of my posts are written like that.
Interpret it as you wish.
But, if there is every a time that I lose sleep over something that happens on an NFL forum you have my permission to kill me and grind up my body parts for fertilizer.

As someone on the newer end of this place. I would say that I have never seen anything to make me think of cliques.
I know several people know each other outside of PPO.
But I think that is more from love of the Vikings more than anything else.
I think there are severl long time posters that could be seen as the "Godfather" figures around here, Like Cajun, Prophet Zues, Singer to name a few. But only because I think they have earned the respect of most people on this site. Well maybe not Cajun, but we like him anyways.

Not so much defensiveness as answering the question you posed.

There is usually a 'crotch sniffer' clique.
The problem is they have problems admitting they are in the clique and have a tough time organizing their group.

I almost forgot, there is a kidney muncher clique too, but I think there is only one member in that clique.....so, I guess it's not an official clique yet.
But, there is potential.

What is the criteria for judging that?

I think its more that some people share the same interests and love for the Vikings...but no-one likes the crotch sniffers, especially since they can't form themselves right lol like Prophet said
