How do you not notice that you chopped off a piece of your finger? I'm always slicing myself in the kitchen and the smallest of cuts I am screaming!

I hate reading stories like that.. I think that right there is the reason I don't eat out much. If I do, I am usually the one staring at his food for 5 mins before taking a bite.
