    There's a law in Illinois that says that anybody can drop off a baby at any local hospital, police station, or fire station within a few (I don't remember the exact # now) days of its birth, and walk away, no questions asked. I don't know how often that option has been used, but I can't recall hearing a "newborn killed by mom" story come out of Illinois for a long time.

    Does Minnesota have any laws like that?
