LIMA, Ohio - A judge who ran out of prospective jurors in a child rape trial sent sheriff's deputies to a Wal-Mart, a supermarket and a mall to issue jury summonses to surprised shoppers.

Three deputies questioned mall walkers and shoppers whether they were Allen County residents and registered voters, and then issued summonses on the spot if answers to both questions were 'yes,' sheriff's Sgt. Brian Winegardner said.............

wow... i'd be pissed that I chose to go shopping...

What a head-rush it would be if you were there & had just shoplifted something & a deputy taps you on the shoulder & hands you a summons.

lol, i know exactly how that feels actually....

last july, lets just say i was having a very bad day.. (more like 2 days, but yea), i was in a rough set of mind, and made some poor decisions and wound up shoplifting while at the mall.
I got caught (i was under the influence mind you, luckily didn't get an underage on top of it, they didn't breathalize me

I was there banned from the mall for a year, but i went back there in October for the first time to just run into a costume store to get a costume for a party.
Back in July, they warned me that they moniter the entrances and will press charges against anyone trespassing.

Well.. While in the costume store, a mall security guy comes up to me (they rarely go in stores unless they get a call, they normally just walk the halls here), taps me on the shoulder, and says "excuse me".
At first I just froze and my heart sunk lol.. but then i just stepped to my left, and he went past me to talk to one of the employees and then left lol... scared the living shit out of me

I'd burn the thing right in front of him
