Thread: Summer Vacation Plans

So, as the summer comes into full swing many of us here in the european side are taking vacations.

normally i would be planning a trip to an island, spend 10-14 days relaxing, swimming, fishing, and just enjoying island life..

this year we decided to do something different.

Fotini and I have been accepted for a 7 day volunteer program to help track, observe, maybe even help in tagging and weighing the bears and wolves in the wild in Greece.
We will also be helping with building of shacks, restoring some equipment, and I believe i will be helping build new wireless communications with the tags that they use on the animals.


other then this.. was wondering what yer all plans are?
where's every1 goin?

We are going to Orlando for 9 days to play in the AAU World Series for my son's team.

Lotta fun with the team and family.

I'm heading to Utah in a few days for either a three day rafting trip down the Green River, or hiking/camping in the Unitas Mountains.
Whatever we decide to do, I'm looking forward to a few days out in the wilderness.

Driving over to Vegas, catch a plane for Minneapolis, drive to Iowa for mother-in-laws 90th Birthday/Wife's family reunion, drive to ND to see the kids, drive to Minneapolis for the Vikings/Seahawks game and meet some PP.Oers, fly back to Vegas, destress for two days, drive home.

We're leaving on Thursday for a long weekend Up Nort at my aunt's cabin on Rainy Lake.

Don't get arrested

It's funny how much it costs when friends get married. I have two weddings to go to before the end of August, and I am flying to both of them... that about sums it up for my plans, unfortunately.
