If you had to earn it the hard way, or your parents did, you are the better person and you can sleep better at night knowing so.

I agree with it meaning more if you earn it. I am not sure how your parents working hard for it makes you a better person though. Some people are always going to have to work harder for things than others, and usually those that do come out better anyway.

Because eventually you will realize that your parents sacrificed a lot to put you through school and hopefully you will appreciate that and do the same with you kids.

That may be true sometimes but sometimes kids are just spoiled.

perfect example 4 football players at the U of MN get kicked off the team, because they think that having unconsentual sex with girls is OK. They had a free ride to school. Why are more people not pissed about this? They are citizens and the Fuck up a opportunity like this.

You got that right. Especially when they buy their kids $300 video game systems that they beg for, only to watch them toss it aside like junk the next year & beg for the "new" & latest & greatest one that came out.

Money doesn't grow on trees. I never got a $300 gift in my entire life from my parents, not even half of that.
