    Stupid State Laws

Here are a few state laws that were put on the books from years gone by....most of which have never been rescinded. So be careful out there!

In Oklahoma, dogs must have a permit signed by the mayor in order to congregate on private property in groups of three or more.

In Minnesota, it is illegal to cross state lines with duck on your head.

It is illegal to walk down a street in Maine with your shoelaces untied.

In Los Angeles, it is unlawful to hunt for moths under a street light.

In Pennsylvania, it is illegal for a man to purchase alcohol without written consent from his wife.

In Alaska, it is illegal to look at a moose from the window of an aircraft or another flying vehicle. It is also illegal to push a live moose out of a moving aircraft.

In Nebraska, a parent can be arrested if his or her child can't hold a back a burp during a church service. While in Alabama it is illegal to wear a false moustache which causes laughter in church.

In Idaho, a citizen is forbidden by law to give another citizen a box of candy that weights more than 50 lbs.

In Texas it is illegal to take more than three sips of beer at a time while standing.

In Huntington West Virginia, it's legal to beat your wife so long as it's done in public on a Sunday-and on the courthouse steps.

In Ohio, women are prohibited from wearing patent leather shoes in public.

In North Dakota, it is illegal to lie down and fall asleep with your shoes on.

By law, everybody in Vermont must take at least one bath a week.

Winchester, MA:Tightrope walking is illegal here unless you are in church.

Carmel, CA: It’s against the law for a woman to take a bath in a business office.

Lubbock, TX: It’s illegal to sleep in a garbage can.

Wisconsin: It’s against the law to feed margarine instead of real butter to prisoners.

California: It’s illegal to peel an orange in your hotel room.

    South Dakota:
Don’t fall asleep in a cheese factory, or you could be arrested.

Garfield County, MT: It’s illegal to draw funny faces on window shades.

Kentucky: Anyone who comes face to face with a cow on the road, must remove their hat.

Fear not Wisconsin....no laws forbidding animal lovin' on the list!
I'd much rather see the Packers miss the playoffs because of their talent then because of their injuries.

In Minnesota it is illegal to sleep with someone who you are not married to. This is actually enforced. Some people meet all the qualifications to claim a girlfriend or boyfriend as a dependent on there tax return, but if they are sleeping together the relationship violates local law and therefore they can't be claimed, I have seen this enforced by the irs and MN revenue in the past few years. Ridiculous.

The IRS are petty thugs. Income taxes are an unrepresented tax and therefore optional. "No taxation without representation." They enforce a non existent law with intimidation and base all court cases for tax evasion on previous cases, not actual law.
