Stupid Potholes!!!

So the roads in IL are horrible.
You're lucky to find one road around here that doesn't have a giant pothole that looks like it goes all the way to China.

Well, I drive the same way most every day, and Christmas Eve as I was coming home from running my last minute errands and took a different way home to avoid some of the traffic.
Next thing you know... BAM I hit the pothole from doom.
It was dark and it was snowing and I just didn't see it.
So, now I have a flat tire that needs to be fixed.
I hate IL

What is it with women and tires...........

I am on my way out the door to go fix my daughters front tire.
Seems she has had a slow leak in it for weeks.
Christmas eve it goes flat.

Come to find out she has a bad valve stem that could have been fixed.

Ugh. I have never been to Chicago but my husband is from NYC and if the roads are remotely as bad as they are there, I feel for you.
I hope you weren't stranded in the cold.

Luckily I wasn't, it didn't completely blow my tire, it just slowly leaked the air.
I was only a few blocks from home thank goodness.

Good thing we spent all that money on the war instead of fixing our roads, schools, etc.

Don't feel like you are the only ones who deal with potholes.
We have our share up here in New England, as well.
Be thankful you didn't have front end damage, to go along with your flat tire.
