Thread: st paul cop was drunk?

startrib says he was .20 [twice the legal limit] when he was killed. st paul police said they allow drinking if you are working undercover. i have been .20 before and i could not function! that would be [for me at 6-2 200#'s about 15 12oz beers]

What is this about, I havent heard anything about this living out on the East Coast. Is there a link to this story? Did a Mpls Police officer get shot while on duty and he was drunk? Is that what I am hearing?

yes he was shot by some punk outside a bar[they caught him] i understand drinking while undercover so you will blend in and such, but .20 is excessive to say the least.

The worste part is he was getting into his car to DRIVE at the time he was shot. What a saint. Maybe that cop getting shot was a blessing in disguise. What if he had wiped out an entire family while driving home.

If somebody is killed, it is never a blessing in disguise! A sober person could have easily wiped out someone as well! :roll:

What a cruel thing to say! The cop didn't deserve to get shot no matter what...his family still deserves our sympathy and prayers.

Yah no kidding, Of course getting drunk double the legal limit is wrong.. But noone really deserves to get shot for getting drunk

I think PPE would be a man and apologize for his comments. Otherwise he will simply be branded around here as another resident Pud Pounder with nothing positive to say. I guess its his choice to be a stand up guy or to be a rodent.
