Anyone use this before. I am looking at buying an expensive item on Ebay and the person selling wants to use Square Trade?????

I don't know, the person had it as a one day listing and I don't see the item any more. I think I am going to have to pass?????

It's just another way to pay instead of PayPal. If you don't see the item anymore, someone bought it with buy it now.

Square Trade plays the middle man so you don't get screwed.

You pay them, the seller sends you the goods & if you're satisfied you notify square trade & they pay the seller.

No it was a one day auction which make me kind of ????? about it.

I don't have the item number anymore cause it is gone. The guy emailed me right before I posted the thread.

Besides this, I had my user id on Ebay hijacked earlier in the week.

I emailed the guy to see what his reponse is and if I could see the details again.

Bummer! I had mine stolen once, but notified eBay right away & they took care of it.

Why did the guy e-mail you? Do you still have the sellers ID? Did the item sell?

I'd like to check to see if this guy is legit. I can find the auction if I had his seller ID.

I dealt with a guy who faked his Square Trade status once.
