Thirty-five sisters were interviewed in November, and 23 were deemed insufficiently committed to the sorority and recruitment. Just before final exams in December, they were told to leave.

They included every woman who was overweight as well as the only black, Korean and Vietnamese members. Even the chapter's president was kicked out. The 12 who remained were slim and conventionally pretty.

This is really poor on the part of the National Office.

I'de open a house next to that one, and welcome them all with open arms......Sometimes those are the girls that are all the fun..... ;D

You could just open up a seafood restaurant next door called, "Uncle Pervy's" and I'm sure they would visit in droves.

Given a room full of Perfect Plastic 10s and a bunch of real-world 4s and 5s, I'm taking the supposed 4s & 5s every time, because they're going to be fun to hang out with.

Half of the ones left were anorexic, bolemic, airheads.
The other half were just anorexic or bolemic, but still had the sense to quit the sorority out of principle.

I thought that fraternities and sororities were elitist groups by nature...doesn't surprise me in the least!

Just an update on this.
Yesterday Depauw revoked the sorority's charter, evicting the sorority from campus.

Good.
Part of me almost hopes some of the girls affected pursue legal action against DZ for discrimination.
Assholes.

You didn't say if the black, asian and whatever else girls were ugly. Maybe race had nothing to do with it.

Not a good strategy though, everyone needs a good wingman/woman.

Actually they were pretty ugly too.

I doubt that race had anything to do with it, but I think discrimination can extend to looks as well.

My wife always brought an ugly friend with her to the bar when we first met.
If I wanted to invite her to an after party, I needed a wingman. ;D
