Soriano out with shoulder fatigue placed on the DL!!!!!!!

CLEVELAND -- The Seattle Mariners placed right-handed reliever Rafael Soriano on the 15-day disabled list with shoulder fatigue and activated right-hander Sean Green from the DL before Saturday's game at Cleveland.

Soriano has not pitched since July 19. He is 1-1 with a 2.10 ERA and two saves in 42 appearances. His 57 strikeouts are sixth among AL relievers.

Rookie Mark Lowe, promoted from Double-A San Antonio on July 7, has excelled as a setup man for closer J.J. Putz since Soriano has been hurting.

Green had been on the DL since July with back spasms. He has no decisions and a 6.19 ERA in 16 innings with Seattle this season.

That was pretty tricky! I should know better, I've been on this site too long for this to happen!

I just found out about an hour ago that my twins were in the hunt for getting Soriano, that would be awesome, but I don't think he would stay in Minny for very long, it sure would be nice if we got him for this season's stretch run and he stuck around for a while!

Haha you got me good. And yes twins are said to be in the running to get him i hope we do but not having to give up to much since Soriano is a free agent after this year.
