Sometimes you just get lucky in life.....Look what I picked up today

In another site I belong to, that is a forum and information type site for CT Fishermen..

I came across these in the classifieds this AM, I jumped on it as fast as I could and I was the first to do so, I'll be picking them up tomorrow.

3 Motorcycles for the sum of $500.00 USD...

    A 1968
    Honda CB 350

Runs well with only 1,500 original miles on it...

    A 1971 Honda CB 350

Runs strong but has a little more mileage on it..

    And a 1972 Honda CL 350
    for parts or restore job.......
sorry, no pic on this one....

I really enjoy not only working on but riding the old bikes from my young years,
these where some of the bikes I learned on and enjoyed when I was growing up......

I think I'm going to Finish minting out the 68 Honda, and getting my son involved with the project with me.
He loves to hang over my shoulder and learn when I'm wrenching on vehicals....

He's going to freak out when he see these...LOL

    ;D

Not bad for $500 bucks for the 3 bikes all together....
    ;D

    Nice bikes

You should go do an Evel Knievel tribute in your front yard

Yeah I'm not huge on bikes, but I do like the classics.
I got a 1971 Firebird that I'm slowly trying to restore.

Looks rough, but runs like a champ.
Right now it has a Chevy 350 under the hood, but I'm thinking of trying to track down a 455 big block to put under the hood.
Next couple years I plan on putting in my Dad's home garage one summer and just stripping it down and putting new floorboards and what not it.
And then just blast everything and work from the ground up.

my friend had a similar car, you might want to look into a 400 engine also....they matched up really well with those Firebirds also.......Lot of top end with that 400.....

Either way, have fun.....thats what it's all about....

PS: Nice to see old Chuck kicking some Urlacher A S S .....LMAO

Nice bikes Ned...good luck with them. Maybe that '68 will look like this when you're finished.
