I found this on the web, and it brightened my day. What do you think of it?

Jewel of the Soul

As before, the buffalo drum
thumps out a rhythmic song
and today through the fog
two stunning emeralds shine

Rising up from the silver mist
comes a voice whirling, darting
enveloping me in warm velvet
with every sweet, lilting beat

These enchanted emeralds blink
and my breath goes silent
frozen in recognition is my heart
all the while the drum beats on

These green beauties coyly sing
the stories told without words
within their light my life changes
and today, the world seems right.
