    So proud of my nephew

    My nephew has just accepted a scholarship offer to play hockey at St. Cloud.
    He turned down offers from the Souix, UMD and others to go there.
    He's really small so the larger sheet of ice at SCSU will benefit him due to his skating skills.
    He was nearly knocked out of hockey a few years ago due to a broken neck.
    He nearly lost his life so this is a huge blessing for him.
    I apologize for bragging but this kid has really come through a ton of adversity to get here.

    I would have personally chosen the Sioux but that is a great story. He was very lucky.

    I might have gone with the NDSU too, but he probably has a better shot a breaking out at SCSU.
    They have a solid hockey team anyways.
