So I watched Jeremiah Johnson.....
...and I have to admit, it's a pretty damn good flick.
I was a bit surprised to see an intermission, because most of the movies I've seen that had those were made in the 50's and 60's.
Didn't know they still had them in the 70's.
Redford owns a bunch of land in Montana, too, if I'm not mistaken, and it seemed odd to me that most of the footage was in Utah.
Could be, though, that the movie was made before he bought the land in Montana.
Great flick, though.
Another couple of good mountain-man movies are "The Mountain Men" (aptly enough) with Brian Keith and Charlton Heston, as well as "Death Hunt" with Charles Bronson.
Re: So I watched Jeremiah Johnson.....
Never heard of this movie to be honest.
I will say that last night I watched Children of Men and it was the best movie I've seen in awhile.
Very very good.
I give it 5 out of 5 and i'm a movie buff, so if you get a chance check it out.
It's well worth it.
Re: So I watched Jeremiah Johnson.....
I haven't had a chance to see C of M yet, but it's on my list.
Crap...thanks for reminding me...I need to go to Blockbuster and see if they have a copy of Pan's Labyrinth.
LOL

Captain Underpants put you up to this.........didn't he?

No.
He just bragged it up enough, I had to see for myself... I'm just letting it be known that his opinion of it is well-founded.
