Thread: Singer wrecks his wiener!

MOUNT PLEASANT, Wis. – One southern Wisconsin homeowner is probably not in love with the Oscar Mayer wiener. The famed hot dog's Wienermobile crashed Friday into the deck and garage of a home in Mount Pleasant, about 35 miles south of Milwaukee.

Police said the driver, Steve Singer, was trying to turn the Wienermobile around in the driveway and thought he was moving in reverse. But she instead went forward and hit the home. It sat in the driveway as if it were stuck in the garage Friday afternoon.

A neighbor who witnessed the accident said that there was a little more to it than just going in the wrong direction. The neighbor claims, earlier that day, the neighbor hung a " Welcome Brett Favre to the MN VIKINGS" sign, on the house where the wiener was driven into.
The neighbor also claims, that the driver, Steve Singer, could be heard screaming words of great hate, about the newely hung sign, and he vowed to not let it happen in his State. Thats when the Wiener made a sudden change of direction and headed straight at the Love for Favre sign, and crashed into the home.

No one was home and no one was injured. No citations were immediately issued.

Both the home and vehicle suffered moderate damage, which Oscar Mayer spokeswoman Sydney Lindner says insurance will cover.

Police hadn't been able to speak to the homeowner as of early Friday evening

They're lucky the sign wasn't close to the backdoor, damage could have been worse if the wiener had rammed in there and got stuck
