Famed Yankees P.A. announcer Bob Sheppard once mentioned how wonderful it would be if a baseball game had "no organ, no jazz, no commercials, just the pitcher and the players and quiet. Wouldn't that be a wonderful, wonderful change?"

The main problem I see is when the crowd is extremely into the game, making a ton of noise, only to be interruppted by some annoying rock and roll song. A P.A.'s job should be to feel the crowd and the moment, and capitalize on it. Instead they just mindlessly press buttons every time the whistle blows.
