Thread: Sig Contest! Please Vote! Patriotic Theme!

A few of PP.O top sig makers wanted to have another sig contest, but make it other than football. So, they decided on a more patriotic theme. We will let this go for 1 week...next Thursday evening!

I think they are all about even in quality and don't think I could pick one over another. To be honest I don't think any of them are as good as the Vike sigs you guys have been producing. The backgrounds in most of them are cluttered and makes them hard to read. Filters are great but can be over used. :wink: And in general I think the coloration on most of these leaves something to be desired. I think you guys have been doing so many sigs that the techniques you use are becoming sort of automatic and the filters are taking over for creativity.

PPE: The text is hard to read and the images of the Towers and Iwo Jima covered by "We Shall Overcome" a song from the Civil Rights era is sort of confusing and leaves one wondering what these three things have to do with one another.

Purple Mafia has the cleanest image but looks sort of faded out because of the diagonal line filter.

Josdin your shape is interesting however if this image were not in a patriotic theme contest I think most people would be hard pressed to know what it was about. I was trying to figure out why you were thanking the Cowboys. LOL

Lotza, the bkg is just confusing and the colorizing doesn't help.

Vikez, The text is really distracting and rough. And what is that a turd sitting on top of the building in the center of the sig? J/K but I think you can see what I mean.

Being a maven I get to say this. :lol:
