Man Shock,
AS A FRIEND,
I'm so sorry to hear this news, but at the same time, a man has to be happy with doing what he's doing..
I hope you know, you and your wife will be in my prayers, and hoping you can land something that will make you happy soon..
While looking, try to find time for some Twins Tickets...LOL..
I'm looking forward to the day we meet again, this time I'll bring my wife and son also..
Your a class act buddy, keep your chin up, and better things are coming your way for sure..

Thanks a lot, Ned, I really appreciate the kind words. I've had the afternoon and part of the evening to think about things, and I've come to one conclusion:

Re: Shockzilla's moving on...
Shock,
It's got to be difficult to soar like an eagle when your flying with asshats!
I've worked for the same company for 24 years now & they're good people so I can only guess as to how you're feeling, but I know you'll come out of it with flying colors.
It sounds like you're still working there until you find something better.
It would be very tough going to work everyday under those circumstances where people don't appreciate the work you do.
I'd definitely look for something better. Somewhere where your work is appreciated & you enjoy going to work everyday.
I wouldn't burn any bridges & if they give you an exit interview (my company does) You should definitely voice your concerns without burning any.
You will definitely find something better, I have faith in you & you just have to keep faith in yourself.
Things usually tend to work out for the better even though it may be difficult for you for awhile.
This is just a temporary road block in your way & you will make it thru.
You'll always have the support from us here at P.P.O.
I've been to hell & back & I'm no stranger when it comes to road blocks, so feel free to PM me anytime.

Re: Shockzilla's moving on...
Hey Shock, you'll find a better job. After 56 years of the same stuff, I can tell you better comes along.
Just last semester I took a computer class that was a requirement for graduation. The professor didn't know how to use Dreamweaver, I showed her how!!
Well, I had to put this on her evaluation (she wasn't suppose to see that until after grades were out) she got me at the end, very legal, but sneaky. My A ended up a B- !! I know I earned an A, and so does she, bi*ch!!
But it will be alright for me in the end.
It will for you too!! Stick with it. Better will come along.[move]"Our day WILL come!! I just hope I LIVE long enough to see it!"[/move]

Re: Shockzilla's moving on...
I'm really to hear about this news shock! I know how hard it was for you to find a job this last time. I guess there is nothing that I can say that will make things better for you except for just hang in there. I'm sure you're tired of hearing that, but things will get better (I'm sure you're tired of hearing that too!) and you'll find that job out there that is perfect for you. If you ever need an ear to b!tch to just let me know!!

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!
