Good luck, sonny.First off, let me say I am NOT doing this to get attention, or to get any "atta boy" comments or anything like that. I am doing this to make a change in my life. I consider you all some of the best friends I have, and I need your help and support.

Way to go Shock.
I actually think that one of the best moves that you made was getting a personal trainer.
I know that they can be expensive, but they can be amazingly effective.
I had a family member go through a trainer at our local YMCA, and within six months she saw better results than she had seen in the prior three years of doing it on her own.
Stick to the plan the trainer gives you, and you will be seeig great results too!Zeus wrote:
When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?

Re: Shock's Big Adventure
you can do it....
I dropped about 65 last summer by getting on my elliptiical every night and watching what I eat.
No major changes, just no more pigging out on things, and no snacking.
I have sadly put about 10 back on the past couple of months, but I will be joining you again, and encouraging you.
We can use each other for motivation.
Good Luck to you

ATTENTION WHORE!!!!
JUST KIDDING!!!
GO FOR IT, SHOCK!!!
You are correct in that we are your extended family...and we are behind you all the way!
I have also just started a diet...it is tied into a contest that a bunch of us are having at work...added motivation if you will.
At any rate, do whatever you have to in order to keep yourself motivated...and don't let the food control you...we all want to see you around for a long time...so just do it one day at a time!

Re: Shock's Big Adventure
way to go shock!!!
I just got one tip for you,
I am 5'10 and I used to weight 182 which is ok but I wanted to lose like 5 pounds of so. I than read this article about diet coke and how its full of artificial sugar and even though it has no calories, you body doesn't recognize the chemical and stores it as fat. so i stopped drinking diet coke and I lost 8 pounds in two weeks. I told a couple of friends about and they lost a lot of weight too. So I guess what I am trying to say is stop drinking any diet sodas or regular sodas and you will lose weight very quickly.
GOOD LUCK

I'm there my friend............Same to you, Marrdro! Let's do it together!
;D Lovin the first of 2 salads right now.
Fat free Zesty Italian salad dressing over Green lettuce, carrots, red cabbage and onions, no cheese, croutons, baco's etc.
I guess as long as I can't have a cheese burger and fries I will get some revenge on people by eating some onions that will give me bad breathe and some red cabbage that will cause me to make a flatulate and drive the need to make a "Poo Thread Entry" later
;D
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.
