    Re: Shaq/Marion Trade (Heat/Suns)

I don't understand the trade at all.
The Suns had to trade a younger all-star for a center that can't stay healthy and is in the twilight of his career.
Why would you waste your best trading piece on somebody like that?
The T-Wolves should have traded a couple of their young players, maybe Gomes, Foye, and player X, for Marion.
He would have instantly upgraded the D and added a finisher at the hoop.
Rock out with your cock out!!!

Shaq might be a decent gamble for a championship, but the 40 million over the next couple years tips the scales to the point of saying don't pull the trigger.

The Suns let Riley and the Heat off the hook for the $$$$.. not wise IMO.
Yeah but they lost the contracts of Marion and banks. 20 million a year is not that much for one of the greatest players of all time.

It is too early to tell, anything less than a championship and it was a bad trade for the suns, anything more and it was a good trade.

I don't see the heat winning another championship ever. Wade is overrated and was a bi-product of Shaq's dominance. The heat should be shopping Wade.
I agree that Wade is somewhat overrated, but I don't know if Heat should be shopping him.

    Re: Shaq/Marion Trade (Heat/Suns)

Love this trade. I live in PHX and love the Suns! We needed a big man and we got it. This also put Stat at PF where he is supposed to be...... he WILL be the best PF in the league.

Shaq is determined to get his 5th ring. Suns doctors have Grant Hill playing like he is young again and they will do the same to Shaq.

Just like Randy Moss...He will suprise you all since he is going to a new team with playmakers.

You will all see the Suns win a championship this year. WATCH!

Nash, Shaq, Stat, Hill, Bell = Championship!

    Why is there a replay?
I wondered that myself. Perhaps it says if I click the initial link, I just don't have the energy to do that.
In the original game Shaq committed a foul in OT (about a minute left in the game) and the scorers table incorrectly said it was his 6th foul and made him come out of the game.
It turned out it was only his 5th foul and should have been able to remain in the game.
That is the reason the protest was upheld and they are replaying the last minute of the game (from the point of the foul on Shaq).

So the question is that since Shaq is no longer on Miami are they allowed to use Marion & Banks or only the players on the roster at the time?
    Should be interesting..........

    LOL!
Does Miami really want to win.
They would like to rack up more L's and increase their chances in the lottery.
