I fish for a living, as a guide on Mille Lacs. It keeps me pretty busy all spring, summer, and into the fall.

On my days off, I like to go fishing too!!
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to slide into it broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming at the top of your lungs......

Hey, My son really likes fishing. I take him out to a private lake where my in-laws have property. worms and bobbers mostly. I want to get into fishing more than that. Any advice on Rods, Poles and tackle for perch , bass, pike, walleye etc. Thanks (or where to read on it)

Type up the search for your states Dept. of Natural Resources, ask the guy at the local bait shop, look at what he has in the store and have fun exploring and learning. It's a great hobby/sport! :thumbright:

Thanks for noticing. 42" 20lb. female.Gold Hot-n-Tot. Trolling. I have hung bigger but that doesnt count unless I get the tape line on them. I had one last year that was at least 48" but she got off right at the boat. I was piss-fumbling around with the motor, too much slack, messing with the net, blah blah.
