This is a local catch from two years ago. Not too bad for around here. It's a saugeye, if you have ever heard of those. A hybrid fish, crossbred between a walleye and a sauger. #5.5lbs.

i caught a 7lb bass in a lake just by my house that is supposed to be there just for show!!! they stock the lake there just for a tournament every year that happens in april, and they put in some huge fish!!! i go to a stocked pond and normally catch a couple of 5lb catfish. the fishing is especially good in the winter. Conroe lake is the biggest lake thats about a 3 hour drive, but my friends get a house on the lake and that has to be the best bass fishing ive ever done!!! i went fishing in oregon once w/ my great uncle and we caught the biggest salmon at a local spot that had to be 3ft long and weighed 10lbs!!! it takes about 8-10 minutes to bring in a big fish, and its very tiring.

I live in North Idaho and they have introduced the Sauger and the Saugeye in some of the lakes here near the Sandpoint area. Most folks don't know what the hell they are so this good ole Minnesotan has to explain. They aint to bright round' here."TheAnimal93" wrote:
