I am late to seeing this ... but I am so sorry for your loss Anglo.

I have always had a huge amount of respect for Vikes fans abroad that keep up with a sport that is clearly more popular here than there.

It is clear in your post the amazing amount of love you had for your wife and she for you. I can tell she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Be well and may she rest in peace.

Thank you guys, it has been a difficult but busy couple of days. At the moment I'm running on adrenaline but know that will run out eventually.
I know it will feel very different when the season starts but I'm hoping she can work up some help somewhere and get us a break that lands our first SB win.
I appreciate your good wishes and I will be back to posting more regularly in due course

I lost my mother three weeks ago. I could not imagine losing my wife so soon. I wish the best for you.

Oh Anglo, I am just finally scrolling through this section and saw this. Saying I'm sorry doesn't begin to describe how I feel for you right now, but its all that I have. I was lucky to have met her, she was wonderful. I hope you have found some peace now that she is in a better place.

Thanks TNT, things are better now and moving forward. Thankfully the upcoming season is around at the right time and I know she's in a better place.
I can take her spirit with me when I'm over for a game later this year and that will be a good way to remember her
