I had front row tx for a Zep concert in Mpls....then Bonham died.

I respect his decision...he's in a totally different place now with Alison Krauss and bluegrass...pretty cool. Their CD is good, they complement each other well...I would have liked a little more of Plant's raw side to come through.
Zep was great in their day...I saw them live 12 times, and also would have seen them in 1980.
IMO you can't go back, and he's got nothing to prove...they sounded great in December (I have a copy of that concert for anyone interested...just send me a PM).Any man who afflicts the human race with ideas must be prepared to see them misunderstood. - H.L. Mencken

I get his decision and actually respect it but boy oh boy for a guy who turns 28 in June this would have been the 1 concert I wanted to add to my resume within my lifetime but I guess I was just born a tad-bit too late.

I respect his decision but on the same hand...one final reunion tour wouldn't kill anybody would it?
He probably knows that a tour like that would be worth more than 200 million.

I got lucky. One of the bands that I missed in concert the first time around got back together last summer for a tour, and I finally got to see them. That was Rage Against the Machine.
I bet there are a lot of people in the "damn-I-wish-I-would-have-seen-them-the-first-time-around" boat when it comes to Led Zeppelin.

Wow, that shows how rich that dude is.
Then again, I don't think he's the type that cares only about money.
I think he's just worried they might not be able to perform as amazingly as they once could.
I love lamp.

I think the reason for that is He doesn't care about the money.
He doesn't want to seem like one of those guys who is well into his 60's (mabye even 70's) just for more money.
Doesn't want to be one of those "Rockers with Walkers" to quote Eddie Van Halen.
I respect his decision, but i would love the opportunity to see Led Zeppelin live, since I was never able to.

I'll do lead vocals on a Led Zeppelin world tour for 200 million.
I know I can't sing, I don't even sing in the shower. I know all the lyrics but I'll still butcher everything, I don't give a fuck.
It's $200 million.
