Thread: Riots erupt in Vancouver after Canucks loss

I live about an hour away from Vancouver. I couldn't believe how these people acted over a hockey game.

Riot police fired rubber bullets and flash bombs in downtown Vancouver Wednesday night to try to disperse angry rioters who set cars on fire and taunted police officers after the Canucks' 4-0 Stanley Cup final loss to the Boston Bruins.

Regardless of the results of the game, something like this was going to happen. Some people were just there to start doing stupid stuff and probably did not even watch the game at all. People are idiots.

Agreed, it probably would have been bigger had they won the game.

Good thing they were wearing jerseys, I almost thought they were a Lakers crowd.
