    Re: Rejoice, hockey fans!!!

It'd be funny if the fans showed up for the second game but not the players.

I feel bad for the players all of them are going to have salary cuts. But on the bright side the minimum salary raised from 150,000 to 450,000.

You makin' that kind of money??? Not unless you are the REAL Troy Williamson! Don't feel too sorry for them, dude...they are making more money than 99% of the people in the world...no sympathy from me, that's for sure...no sympathy for the owners either!!!

  :headbang: I'm so stoked that the lockout is over but, I'm still pissed :cussing: :angry5: :angry7: that they threw away a season.

I'll still support my team (L.A. Kings) and I'll watch it on T.V., if they show any games. I'm just torn between going to the games and giving away my money or sitting this season out as my own little protest.

I know that not going to the games will only serve to hurt my enjoyment so I'll probably wind up going. Perhaps a collective "boo" at the start of the first home game would send a message.

Or a collective "Nobody show up inside the arena until the SECOND period starts" protest...but again, there is NO way that fans are gonna be able to coordinate themselves to make it work.
