Recommend me a dvd box set/series...

These are the shows my wife and I are addicted to:

Spartacus (Starz)
Deadwood (HBO)
Weeds (Showtime)
Big Love (HBO)
Dexter (Showtime)
Game of Thrones (Starz)
The Walking Dead (AMC)
Falling Skies (TNT)
Californication (Showtime)
Entourage (HBO)
Firefly (Sci-Fi Channel...I refuse to switch to the dumbed-down spelling of it)
Secret Diaries of a Call Girl (Showtime)

That show is amazing!!!

Started watching the first season back in January/February, just because we'd heard a few things about it. We were instantly hooked, we watched all 5 seasons by summer time.

It's constantly edge of your seat, a lot of twists and turns, dark humor throughout, hard to explain too much in detail, just highly recommend it. Don't know of anyone (at least that I know) who's watched it and said they didn't like it.

Thank you, I don't know why everything has to start with an X or end with a Z or be shortened somehow nowadays, maybe I'm just not Xtremez enough LOL, OMFG.

Now if I could just keep those kids off my damn lawn.

As for a series suggestion; "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" is pretty cheap and has high replay value.

As a guy introduced to "Sunny" in the last year, and catching up through all the back seasons one episode at a time on my ipad the last several months I agree. A guilty pleasure loaded with sophomoric humor, one I cant recommend to my teenage kids, but I like it none the less.

Having said that I cant believe that the best box set of all time has not been mentioned on here. It is old enough that you have probably seen it already, but if not make sure that you check it out.

I am talking about Band of Brothers the HBO Original Series from 10 years ago. That is the one mini-series that no matter how many times I have seen it before, I can sit down and watch those episodes in order every couple years. I think it ought to be required watching for all high school kids.
