    THe Real Frozen Tundra

    http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/eticket/story?page=tundra&lpos=spotlight&lid=tab1pos1

I won't copy the whole article because it is rather long. But it is a very solid article about a HS in alaska that is trying to use football as a way to get the youth envolved in something productive. Nice story, especially considering all of the drama that has been going on in schools lately

    Re: THe Real Frozen Tundra

    That is pretty cool.
I lived in Alaska for a few years before moving to the deep south (i.e. North Dakota).
I never made the trip up to Barrow, but went to Delta Junction and Valdez (the other two schools mentioned) several times.

Yeah no kidding! A fifth grader just brought a gun to school the other day in Minnesota. Scary stuff.

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!
