The PS3 is going to Rock!!!

It will rock.. But I don't have 600+ dollars for a system

I'm sure it's very impressive but I won't buy it. About a month after I bought the PS2 I became disinterested in video games. There's a small handfull of games that I still play from time to time but that's about it.

I might consider buying it years down the road....maybe.

PS3 isn't going to be THAT superior to XBox 360, especially for the difference in price!

$629 for the more expensive version..you also have to factor in the fact that places like best buy, ebgames and such will only sell in packages including games and controllers..so its fair to say it will really be about 800-900 before taxes with the stupid mandatory bundles that are sold by most stores

yea i hate the bundles. just sell the damn console with a controller and maybe put in a demo disc and a memory card and thatll be fine.

The PS3 would be the same price as the Xbox360 if it wasnt for the Blu-Ray Drive instead of a standard DVD drive like Xbox360 uses. Yeah $600 is alot of money but I think its well worth it considering how much Blu-Ray players are gonna cost. And in the Future Xbox360 games are gonna be hitting the limit in storage capacity on their games and PS3 Blu-Ray games will be able to have much more content on the disc if the developers make a HUGE game with tons of in-game music and videos(CG Videos ala Square Enix). PS3 has more potential imo but Xbox 360 is cheaper. Either way they are both gonna have great games and im gonna own both as well as the Nintendo Wii. :grin:

It might very-well be $1000 considering it will probably be a PC that plays PS4 games :lol:
