Protesting Halo 2

Well not really because I'm a Halo 2 junkie, but last night, I played head-to-head and literally four times in a row, each guy standbyed me to win the games. I had just achieved a 10 ranking, and then I fell to 9 because of little kids who think having a high rating in Halo 2 translates into some form of success in the real world. It has gotten so bad that I have to stop playing the game until the patch comes out (late April) to stop people from standbying and glitching. Anyone else feel the same way?

hell yah...thats so dam annoying. are people that pathetic to cheat on a video game? idk, makes me think that these kids need to get a life or something.

also whats annoying is when you get like 18 kills in team slayer and the 2 other guys that you dont kno on ur team get like 3-7 kills. ahhh very annoying lol. i dropped 2 lvls just because of bad team mates.

yea man, not to brag or anything but I always tear it up in Team Slayer, and sometimes I am paired with the worst players. Oh well, you win some, you lose some.

I hate bad team mates in team slayer. Thats the reason i only play with my freinds who i know are good.

yeh i usually play w/my friends but when its like 3am in the morning nobody is on lol. guess im asking for it when i play w/players i dont kno.

My friend is ubelievable at halo 2, hes going to orlando for some national tournament.

Standbying is when you're playing and someone presses the standby button on their modem, or uses a program on their computer to stop their internet "flow" so that when you shoot at anyone, you miss, because they're not where you see them in the game... It's kind of hard to explain it, but you'll know it once you see it. It's lame believe me.

I feel your pain. I play with my friends on live and whenever we do matchmaking on Halo 2 there is always someone other than my friends who puts a glitch or cheats somehow and it really get me agrivated. Thanks for brining that subject up BigIke
