    Proof #1 - Horses have infinite legs

    1. Horses have two legs in back.
    2. In front, they have forelegs.
    3. 2 + 4 = 6, which is an odd number of legs for a horse.
    4. 6 / 2 = 3, a whole number, meaning that 6 is an even number.
    5. Therefore, 6 is both even and odd.
    6. The only number that is both even and odd is infinity.
    7. Therefore, horses have an infinite number of legs.

    Proof #2 - 1 = 2

    1. let a = b
    2. Therefore, a x a = a x b >> a² = ab.
    3. Thus, if we add a² - 2ab to both sides, a² + a² - 2ab = ab + a² - 2ab.
    4. Further simplified, 2(a² - ab) = a² - ab. If we divide both sides by (a² - ab)...
    5. ...we come to the only logical conclusion: 1 = 2.

    It is a proven fact that âË*«âË*ž,0(dx/x)= âË*ž. If we look at the graph of f(x)= 1/x, however, an interesting contradiction presents itself:



    1. The area of the region bounded by the x and y axes, as well as by x=1 and y=1, is 1.
    2. âË*«âË*ž,1(dx/x) = 1. This leaves only the area of the region on top of the square-shaped region in the corner to be determined.
    3. The area of this region is calculated by âË*«âË*ž,1(dy/y), which has the same area as the integral calculated in step 2.
    4. Therefore, the total area under the graph (which we all know is ALWAYS the same as the integral - cough, cough) is equal to the sum of the areas of these three regions, or 1 + 1 + 1 = 3.
    5. Therefore, âË*ž = 3.

    What do you mean you're not buying it? Okay, okay. How about a different conclusion: Therefore, graphs are worthless in determining imperfect integrals. The textbook that my calculus class used contained examples of imperfect integrals using graphs as visual aids. Therefore, the calculus textbook that my class used is worthless. Therefore, my calculus class was worthless. Worthless people should be stoned to death. Therefore, my calculus teacher should be stoned to death.

    The area above y=1 and to the right of x=1 are clearly infinity and not one. So âË*ž + âË*ž + 1 = âË*ž
