There has only been one Vikings runningback to ever rush for 200 yards in a game, Chuck Forman in 1976 against the Eagles. I thought that we would have had some runningbacks that rushed for 200, especially Robert Smith, but i guess not.

Between Foreman and Smith we did not really have dominant RB's. We hasd some good one: Brown and Allen. So, this does not surprise me.

200 yards a game is quite a feat; I would bet without fact checking at this point that there aren't many 200 yard game backs out there. I can think of a few present day occurrences...but I mean its not an every week occasion. We'll have complete stats for the Vikes history here shortly.

Yeah it is pretty rare, but it happens ...
I know that Dillon and Lewis have done it, I think Tomlinson may have done it ... hmmm ... don't know for sure on Faulk or Alexander, they have gotten close but I don't know that they have done it, well, this is all off the top of my head, I am sure that it easily enough to find, lol

Just a quick glance over the last three seasons yielded me these RBS with 200 yard games:
Ladanian Tomlinson x 4 (200, 217, 220, 243) Jamal Lewis x 2 (205, 295) Clinton Portis x 2 (218, 228), Tiki Barbor (203), Ahman Green (218), Edgerrin James (204)
That is 11 games in three years. I also think I am missing a few here.
Close: Alexander (195), Julius Jones (198), Holmes (197), Martin (196), Taylor (194)
And I know that Corey Dillon did it at least once in his career before 2002 ... so there you have it ...

In 2000 4 RB's did it on the same day. Also, it was done 10 different times that year.
