Thread: PPO Twins Outing

As we talked about to a few folks at the draft party, Neumdog and I have a bulk of tickets to use in any manner we choose.

We thought we would put up 25-30 tickets for PPO folks that want to go see a Twins game on PPO for a mid-summer bash and get some serious Jumbotron love for PPO members.

Our question is what home games in late June would people be up for?

Let this be known: if you commit to showing, and we hook you up with tix, don't jack us over.
We've tried this before and had just a small handful of people that didn't call or respect the issue of the tix.
If you commit to showing, we really want to see you for this party.

We need to get numbers, and who is coming, because we have to call the Twins and convert all our vouchers into tickets for that game.

So, let's talk what games at the end of June, maybe beginning of July, and who can make it.
This is a PPO free party for all of us hardcore offseason fans.

I would be for doing something like this

If it is on a weekend I would probably go.
I do love my Twins, but it's a three hour drive.
So once some more details get hammered out I would say one way or the other.
But I plan to go to a couple of games this summer anyways so I'd put it at like 80% I'd go.

I can make any those games if they fall on a weekend with the exception of the June 27-29 weekend. A Saturday or Sunday game would be best.

I'd also like to reiterate Webby's statement that if you sign up you are expected to be there. I know how he feels. Last year I bought the Twins tickets for the group & after a few people didn't show, I was stiffed for $125.00. I'd hate for that to happen to Webby.

Exactly why I said it, Singer, and I don't want any member to every take that kind of hit again because he was as generous as you.

I'd love to go but doesn't look like I'm going to be able to make it up to Minny this year. Thanks again for the invite to the Twins game a couple years back. It was a blast.
